CNADM Membership Info & Application

CNADM membership is for individuals who (by education or experience) give evidence of competence in a field of dance. The advantages of membership are many, including continuing educational opportunities, support and networking with peers, and opportunities to exchange ideas and information.

Requirements to Join CNADM

  • At least 18 years old
  • Teacher or Assistant for at least 2 years
  • Pass (80% or better) a basic oral and written examination in 2 or more disciplines (Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Modern) 
  • Must adhere to the Standards and Code of Ethics of CNADM

Membership Fees

$40 Application Fee
$140 Annual Dues (billed on January 1)
First Year Dues paid upon successful completion of exam ($100 in summer; $140 in fall)
All members attending a workshop receive a $30 educational rebate on subsequent year's dues

CNADM does have a reciprocal membership agreement with the Dance Masters of Wisconsin and Southern Association of Dance Masters. If you are a member in good standing with one of these organizations, you may join CNADM by completing the Reciprocal Membership Application and paying the first year’s dues.
